I'll Fly Away

I'll Fly Away, originally uploaded by MadeWithLove.

Comecei ontem um caderno de músicas favoritas ilustradas... esta foi a primeira e é de Albert E. Brumley, 1932. Fiquei encantada com a versão dos Jars of Clay no novo CD "Redemption Songs".

I'll fly away, oh glory, I'll fly away. When I die, Hallelujah by and by, I'll fly away...
Some bright morning when this life is over, I'll fly away.
To a land on God's celestial shore, I'll fly away.
Like a BIRD from these prison walls I'll fly away...
Oh how glad and happy when we meet, I'll fly away.
No more cold iron shackles on my feet, I'll fly away.
Just a few more weary days and then I'll fly away...
